FIELD: food industry; storage and transportation of eggs. SUBSTANCE: package made of solid blank has base with specially made cells for articles and cover hinge-connected with base along its longer side by means of two parallel bending lines with flat connecting section in between. Stops are made over perimeter of package on flanges of base and cover for relative engagement when package is closed to provide arrangement of flanges of cover and base in parallel planes to form vent apertures in between. At least two pairs of stops found at side opposite to hinge joint are provided with locks. At least one pair of stops found at each side adjoining hinge joint square to the latter is provided with fixing device. Central stops are made in base between rows of cells. Upper ends of stops engage with inner surface of cover when package is closed. Dampers in form of ring-shaped projections are made on bottom of cells. Bridges between cells are made in form of stiffening ribs. EFFECT: increased rigidity of structure, enhanced temperature conditions inside package. 4 cl, 2 dwg
