FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: moulded egg container comprises a base and a lid made of a single tubercular blank by a bend in the grooves located along the bending line. The container comprises cells for placing eggs, surrounded by protrusions which contact each other by means of stiffeners. The protrusions located on the base have through holes at the apexes. The protrusions formed on the lid have protruding elements of a conic step-like shape on the apexes, arranged symmetrically to the holes relative to the bend axis, with the possibility of entry of the conic protruding elements into the holes with formation of a locking connection.
EFFECT: improved storage conditions.
