SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology and rheumatology, and is intended to diagnose the pathology of total tear secretion in patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. Sex, age, seronegative or seropositive rheumatoid arthritis, stage and activity of the disease, cyclic citrullinated peptide antibodies, functional class, x-ray stage, the presence of complications and associated diseases are scored. Obtained points are summed up. With a sum of 4 points and less – there is no pathology of total tear secretion. From 5 to 8 points – insignificant insufficiency of total tear secretion. From 9 to 11 points – significant insufficiency of total tear secretion. 12 points and above – severe insufficiency of total tear secretion.
EFFECT: method allows you to easily and quickly diagnose the total tear secretion in patients with rheumatoid arthritis due to the evaluation of the complex of the most significant diagnostic tests.
