FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dentistry, and can be used for remineralization of hard dental tissues for the purpose of prevention and treatment of caries in the staining stage, hyperesthesia of hard dental tissues. Proposed dental gel contains silicon glycerolates of composition Si(C3H7O3)4⋅6C3H8O3 as a hydrophilic base and additionally contains fluorohydroxyapatite with a particle size of 20–50 nm (in the form of 3.0–4.0 % aqueous suspension), sodium fluoride and xanthan gum in the following ratio of components (wt.%): 3.0–4.0% fluorohydroxyapatite suspension with a particle size of 20–50 nm (which corresponds to 1.8–2.5 wt.% of dry matter) – 61.5–62.0; hydroxyapatite with a particle size of 20–80 nm – 14.5–15.5; sodium fluoride – 2.5–3.0; xanthan gum – 1.5–2.0; silicon glycerolates of composition Si(C3H7O3)4⋅6C3H8O3 – the rest. Method of remineralization of hard dental tissues involves applying to the surface of the tooth with signs of demineralization of the above dental gel and its subsequent removal by rinsing the oral cavity. Thin layer of gel is applied using an applicator, incubated for 5–6 minutes, after which it is not necessary to spot a coating with a light-curing glass ionomer, the medical procedure is repeated after 1 month. Composition of the gel provides a slower demineralization process, increasing the resistance of hard dental tissues, reducing hyperesthesia.
EFFECT: proposed method of remineralization of hard tissues of teeth in the treatment of the initial form of increased abrasion of teeth allows to: reduce hyperesthesia of hard tooth tissues; improve patient's quality of life due to dental health; ensure the stable remission of the disease for the observation period of 1 year in case of increase in the resistance of hard dental tissues.
