METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATIC DETERMINATION OF FUZZY DUPLICATES OF VIDEO CONTENT Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G06F17/30 G06K9/46 G06K9/68

Abstract RU 2677368 C1

FIELD: computer equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a computer device for automatically detecting fuzzy duplicates of video content, a method for creating a template for original video content. Method includes receiving instructions for video content, extracting each N frame from the video stream of the received video content with obtaining a sequence of frames, N > 1, determining the sequence of scenes and the duration of each of the scenes by comparing fragments of adjacent frames from the obtained sequence of frames, the scene boundary is determined when the degree of similarity of fragments of adjacent frames is below a predetermined value, creating a vector of the sequence of scenes of the received video content, comparing the vector of the sequence of scenes of the received video content with the vector of the sequence of scenes of the template of the original video content, the definition of a fuzzy duplicate of the original video content, when the coincidence of the sequence of scenes of the original video content and the scenes of the received video content exceeds a predefined threshold value, determining the possible error in the difference in the duration of the scene of the original video content and the duration of the scene of the received video content.

EFFECT: technical result is to automate the analysis of video content to identify fuzzy duplicates of video content.
