Method of generating at least one random number includes the following steps: quantum tunnelling charges from one conductor to another conductor across a quantum tunnelling barrier; receiving a random signal stemming from the quantum tunnelling of the charges; associating the random signal to a random number and generating a signal indicative of the random number.
EFFECT: technical result: enabling generation of random numbers.
