FIELD: power production equipment. SUBSTANCE: method involves production of electric power in emission converter due to tunnel emission of electrons from current-conducting emitter and accumulation of electrons on current-conducting collector. This results in decreased potential of collector with respect to emitter and causing electric current in external circuit which connects emitter and collector through resistance of load. Goal of invention is achieved by polarized dielectric layer which is produced and mounted with respect to emitter and collector to provide single-way tunnel emission of electrons from emitter directly to collector. EFFECT: increased efficiency of converter.
