FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal machining by cutting on lathe tools with numerical program control. Device contains an actuator to move a cutter, laser sensor with an analog-to-digital converter for measuring the size of a workpiece, associated with the input of a computer, the output of which through the signal amplification unit is connected with said actuator. In this case, the device is equipped with a temperature sensor in the cutting zone integrated into the cutter and a contactless sensor of a workpiece surface temperature, the outputs of which are connected to the input of the computer.
EFFECT: use of the invention allows to improve the geometrical accuracy of machining parts during the finish turning.
