FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a batch made of refractory mineral materials and can be used for lining assemblies used for nonferrous metal melts. Said batch contains more than 90 wt% of mixture of the following components (wt%): 3–74 of at least one coarse-grain raw olivine material with forsterite content of at least 70 wt%, grains which have a size greater than 0.1 mm; 25–49 of at least one magnesia in the form of a fine powder, in which the grains have a size ≤1 mm; 0.9–14 of silicon carbide (SiC) with a grain size ≤1 mm; 0.1–10 of at least one fine powdered silicic acid with a particle size of ≤500 microns; 0–4 of antioxidant for refractory products; 0–4 of refractory granulated raw materials with a particle size of more than 0.1 mm; 0–2 of at least one known additive; 0–4 of additives of refractory materials; 0–10 of at least one known binder for refractory products, in dry form or in separately packaged liquid form. Granular aggregate or additive is selected from the group: magnesite-chromite, spinel, Cr2O3, ZrO2, Si3N4, zircon. Binder used can be lignosulphonate, magnesium sulphate, ethyl silicate or binder selected from the group comprising pitch and / or tar and synthetic resins.
EFFECT: obtaining refractory materials not wetted by non-ferrous metal melts with improved penetration resistance of fayalite slags and improved corrosion resistance to sulphates.
