FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to refractory products in form of dry mineral charge from refractory mineral materials, which can be used to produce molded refractory brick or monolithic lining of furnaces for melting of non-ferrous metals. Dry mineral charge contains 30–74 wt. % of at least one coarse-grained magnesite raw material with fineness of more than 1 mm with MgO content of more than 90 wt. %, more than 25 to 50 wt. % of MgO powder containing less than 10 wt. % of Fe2O3 and less than 2.5 silicate impurity phases, and at least one heat-resistant agent in form of fine carbon, acting in melting process (in situ) as reducing agent to molten metal oxide of non-ferrous metal and/or molten iron-non-ferrous oxide. Charge can additionally contain SiC or finely dispersed silicic acid, as well as binder.
EFFECT: technical result of invention is high resistance of refractory materials to fayalite slags, sulphide melts (matte), sulphates and non-ferrous metal melts.
