FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the medical equipment, in particular to the surgical introducer for the implant into a human ear introduction. Surgical introducer for the implant into a human ear introduction, wherein implant contains the engagement elements, made of material with shape memory and with the ability to move from the first, essentially flat configuration to the second pre-programmed configuration in the form of a horseshoe, contains the handle and the locking mechanism. Handle includes a body and a longitudinal channel in the body, receiving a slider support member and a slider. Slider support member is adapted to hold the implant in a first, substantially flat configuration. Handle comprises a locking structure formed by grooves in each part of the body, having a first locking position and a second locking position, in accordance with the slider first and second positions, respectively. Locking mechanism comprises an integrated with the slider spring, wherein at least part of the spring is wider than the channel, so that when the implant is held by the slider support member and the slider is in its first position, spring engages with the locking structure in the first locking position, and when the spring is compressed and the slider is moved into its second position, the spring engages with the locking structure in the second locking position.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables to safely manipulate the introducer inside a cut in the human ear without the risk of the implant unfolding.
