FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of engineering, in particular to friction products containing a composite friction element combined with a metal frame. Layers of the composite friction element are made of composites with different polymer matrices and a different ratio of compressibility values in the cold and heated state.
EFFECT: increase in the mechanical resistance of the friction product in a cold state with simultaneous preservation of the damping ability of the layer placed on the side of the metal frame in the heated state is achieved.
