SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of cosmetics. First invention provides a topical cosmetic composition, consisting of an aqueous phase and an oily phase, which are separated and transparent, including at least one surfactant which is liquid at a temperature of 20–25 °C and pressure of 760 mm Hg with HLB<8 and selected from fatty acid esters with sugar and alkyl polyglucosides; at least one branched alkane containing from 8 to 18 carbon atoms; and from 0 to 4 wt. % silicone oil. Second invention provides cosmetic use of this composition for care, removal of makeup and / or cleansing the skin, lips and / or eyes and / or hair care. Third invention provides a cosmetic method for removing makeup, cleansing and / or caring for skin, lips and / or eyes, which includes applying said composition.

EFFECT: composition allows, after shaking, to obtain an emulsion, which is quickly separated into two transparent phases, having a sharp interface without droplets on the walls of the transparent container; the composition leaves less greasy marks on the skin while maintaining the effectiveness of the removal of cosmetics.
