FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy and can be used for the blockage removal in the direct-melting converter solid particles injection lance. Direct-melting converter comprises the molten metal and slag bath and passing into the direct-melting converter solid particles injection lance, which has immersed into the molten slag outlet end. Solid particles injection lance additionally has a single inlet connected to the section of gas and solid remelting material supply line into the solid particles injection lance. Method comprises the obstructions removing tool advancing through the supply line section and through the solid particles injection lance to the upstream obstruction side, the tool operating under the elevated gas pressure conditions for the obstruction removal so, that the remelted solid material and the gas were supplied through the solid particles injection lance, and the tool removal from the solid particles injection lance and the supply line section. Also disclosed is the obstruction in the solid particles injection lance removal device.
EFFECT: invention allows to remove blockages in the solid particles injection lance during the direct melting converter operation without its stopping.
