SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the production of aluminium. Electrolysis plant comprises a storage zone for storage of new anode assemblies, a treatment zone for treating used anode assemblies, a production zone comprising a plurality of electrolytic cells for the production of liquid metal by electrolysis, and a fleet of transport vehicles for transporting new anode assemblies from the storage zone to the production zone and used anode assemblies from the production zone to the treatment zone. Transport vehicles for transporting anode assemblies comprise automatic control means to enable autonomous movement thereof and are sized to transport only one anode assembly at a time.
EFFECT: improved safety of aluminium production, reduced pollution, improved visibility.
