FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the refining and conversion of heavy hydrocarbon fractions containing, among other things, sulphur-containing impurities. Invention relates to a method for the conversion of hydrocarbons containing at least one hydrocarbon fraction with sulphur content of at least 0.1 wt. %, at an initial boiling point of no lower than 340 °C and at a final boiling point not lower than 440 °C, which makes it possible to obtain a heavy fraction with a sediment content after aging less than or equal to 0.1 wt. %, wherein said method comprises the following steps: a) hydrocracking feedstock in the presence of hydrogen in at least one reactor comprising a supported catalyst in a fluidised bed, b) separation of waste obtained after step a), c) aging the heavy fraction obtained after separation step b), d) separating the heavy fraction sediment obtained in step c) aging, to obtain said heavy fraction.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining heavy fractions with a low content of sediment after ageing, wherein said heavy fractions can preferably be used as fuel or fuel base, in particular, as bunker fuel or a bunker fuel base that meets specifications, specifically the conditions of sediment content after ageing of less than or equal to 0,1 wt %.
