FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermoplastic polyurethane and a method for its preparation, to the use of the composition Z(W) as a plasticizer for thermoplastic polyurethanes as well as to a molded product. Said method for producing thermoplastic polyurethane involves adding the composition Z(W) containing (a) at least one aliphatic carbodiimide polymer and (b) at least one ester selected from the group consisting of citric acid esters and acetyl citric acid esters to thermoplastic polyurethane made from a polyester alcohol or polyether alcohol reaction mixture and isocyanate. Alternatively, the above composition Z(W) is added to the reaction mixture based on a polyether alcohol or a polyether alcohol and isocyanate. From thermoplastic polyurethane a product is molded.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase the stability of thermoplastic polyurethanes to hydrolysis and thermal decomposition.
