In addition, part of the position information of the reference point is grouped into a group according to the turning states of the vehicle, and based on the values of the movements of the vehicle, when determining the position of the reference point, the adjustment range for the group is established. In addition, cartographic information is provided, which includes the provisions of the landmark, and by comparing the position information of the landmark with the positions of the reference in the map information, the vehicle position is estimated based on the established adjustment range.
