FIELD: pulp industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for production of paper rolls and a device for realizing said method. Method for production of paper rolls comprises stage of paper products logging by winding of specified amount of paper web around corresponding longitudinal axis, stage of transverse cutting of logs to obtain rolls of specified length and intermediate stage of logs transportation from slitter-rewinder, which produces logs, to cutting machine, which cuts them across. At that, transportation stage includes logs movement along the way and their lateral displacement so that logs are exposed to said lateral displacement during their forward movement. Plant for production of paper rolls comprises slitter-rewinder, which produces logs of paper product, cutting machine, which cuts logs across to obtain rolls of specified length, and transportation mechanism, adapted to move logs from slitter-rewinder to cutting machine. Transport mechanism comprises inlet and outlet sections for logs, wherein section between said sections is adapted to communicate lateral displacement for same logs, when they move forward to outlet section, wherein outlet section of transportation mechanism is moved aside by a predetermined value relative to inlet section.
