FIELD: mechanical engineering; material handling. SUBSTANCE: ramp is arranged between first and second sections of production line. It has coil entry gear designed for distribution of coils on ramp, exit gear designed for controlled discharge of coils from ramp, flexible endless member with supports for coils. Supports are divided into two groups: first group of empty supports and second group of filled-in supports. First drive unit with electric motor is designed for moving supports of first group towards coil entry gear, and second drive unit with electric motor is designed for moving supports of second group towards exit gear. Two drive units with electric motors provide continuous movement of flexible member. Speed of movement of two drive units with electric motors is defined by frequency at which coils are received from first section and frequency at which they are to be taken from second section.
