FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology, in particular to a method for producing stem cells (SC) from a tooth. Method includes filling the internal cavity of the separated tooth through the apical part of its root canal with 0.1–0.4 % collagenase solution and keeping in the range from about 25 °C to about 39 °C for 20–120 minutes. Next, the contents of the internal cavities of the tooth are collected, centrifuged, after which the supernatant is removed, the precipitate is resuspended in a nutrient medium suitable for the cultivation of mesenchymal SC, and the resulting suspension is placed in a culture flask for subsequent cultivation.
EFFECT: invention allows to simplify the production of SC from a tooth.
