FIELD: biology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of cellular biology and biotechnology. Proposed is a method of producing a labeled cell culture, wherein said method includes processing a suspension of magnetite nanopowder with an arithmetic mean size of particles between 80 and 110 nm in the liquid phase with ultrasound with a frequency and duration sufficient to disperse large aggregates, followed by at least 10 minutes of incubation; a cell culture with a confluence of no more than 80% to a concentration of 50 to 600 μg/ml is then added and incubated for 2 to 14 hours at 37°C.

EFFECT: invention provides increased viability and proliferative activity of labeled cells used in MRI diagnostics.
