FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the control of engine oil condition of automobile engines. Oil condition monitoring device comprising a handle with an electronic unit where the fixation of the engine crankcase is made, measuring rod, that is a hollow cylinder with holes on the side surface, where in its internal volume a sensor and a temperature meter are installed, that communicate with an electronic unit mounted on the handle. In the measuring rod, above the sensor is placed a source of magnetic waves associated with the electronic unit and the battery, moreover between the sensor and the source of magnetic waves in the measuring rod there is a cavity, the volume of which is regulated by moving the sensor along the hollow cylinder along a threaded guide. Temperature meter is separated from the cavity by a septum.

EFFECT: invention provides a timely assessment of the condition of the oil and increase the service life of the engine and its systems.
