FIELD: mountaineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mountaineering, namely to the safeguarding, movement along the ropes and the cargo lifting along them equipment. Self-locking descender device includes body (1), the ropes locking system and the ropes guiding system. On the body (1) working surface (7), vertically along the axis of symmetry a bearing element (11) is installed, on which both sides two mirror-symmetric working areas are formed for two, respectively, independent ropes. On the frame (11) both sides related to the rope locking system control levers (18) are located. Swivel plates (27), outer jaws (31) and (32) and locking carabiners belong to the ropes guiding system. From the body (1) back side for the frame (11) fixing on the body a locking plate is installed. Each control lever (18) contains connected to the handle cam pivotally mounted with possibility of the rope pressing to the frame (11) with the cam deceleration surface while the lever handle releasing and the cam releasing from the frame (11) to release the rope when pressing the lever handle. Cam contains an area with the guide groove for interaction with the rope. To install the bearing element (11) on the body (1), the body is made with bearing jaws (8) and clamped between them supporting rod (12), placed in the body shank (1) the upper groove and the lower groove, bent at obtuse angle to the body inside surface. Bearing element (11) is made in the form of a flat, vertically oriented complex shaped part and is connected to the body (1) perpendicular to its surface by means of fixing elements and grooves: a mushroom-shaped protrusion for the bearing element (11) and the body fixing by means of a locking plate, an inclined protrusion for installation in the body shank groove support part, the groove, which is with one wall is coupled with the supporting element vertical face and engaging with the body upper groove.
EFFECT: enabling increase in the descent speed smoothness and uniformity with less effort to drive the device into action, as well as the use of ropes in a wide range of their diameters.
