SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in supercharged internal combustion engines. This method for controlling the actuator of electrical wastegate (26) of a turbocharger in internal combustion engine (10), having controller (12) equipped with computer-readable medium (106), is to determine the desired position of wastegate (26) by means of controller (12). Electrical motor (150) is adjusted in response to the desired position of wastegate (26), as determined by controller (12). During its adjustment, electrical motor (150) additionally responds to any one of the definitions under selected conditions, the deviation of wastegate (26) from the desired position by means of at least one full half turn of electrical motor (150), and an indication of the temperature of electrical motor (150), determined on the basis of the resistance of the winding, averaged over a full half-turn during deflection by controller (12). Disclosed are variations of a method for controlling the electrical motor of an electrical wastegate of a turbocharger in an internal combustion engine.
EFFECT: technical result is to improve the estimation accuracy of the temperature of an electrical motor.
