FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glass containers. Said glass container includes a body having an inner surface, an outer surface and a wall thickness extending between the outer surface and the inner surface. Said container has a compressively stressed layer and a lubricous coating. Said compressively stressed layer extends from the outer surface of the body into the thickness of the walls and has a surface compressive stress equal to or greater than 150 MPa. Said lubricous coating is located at least around a portion of the outer surface of the body, while the outer surface of the body with the lubricous coating has a coefficient of friction equal to or less than 0.7. Said lubricous coating is a durable inorganic coating.
EFFECT: technical result is increased resistance to delamination, strength and damage tolerance.
