FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to urology, and can be used to diagnose an inflammatory process of the urinary system in young children. For this purpose, blood serum is selected, in which the content of L-FABP, I-FABP proteins that bind fatty acids is determined. Moreover, if the child’s content of L-FABP exceeds 319.28±27.50 pg/ml and at the same time I-FABP content exceeds 38.42±9.8 pg/ml an infection of the urinary system and a high likelihood of inflammatory kidney disease are diagnosed.
EFFECT: invention provides an early and effective diagnosis of an inflammatory process of the urinary system in children of the first three years of life and thus the early diagnosis of inflammatory kidney diseases in children of the first three years of life.
