SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict allergic rhinitis in children with food allergy to cow's milk. Fecal zonulin is determined in the coprofiltrate of children with food allergy to cow's milk. If the level of zonulin is higher than 1.94 ng/ml, the risk of developing allergic rhinitis is more than 50% within 5 years. If the level of zonulin is less than 1.94 ng/ml, the risk of developing allergic rhinitis within 5 years is less than 50%.
EFFECT: method provides safe effective prediction of development of allergic rhinitis in children with food allergy in a short time by determining the level of zonulin in coprofiltrate.
