METHOD OF DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSTICS OF SKIN SCAR TYPE IN WOMEN Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N33/53

Abstract RU 2680085 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dermatology, and can be used for the differential diagnosis of the type of skin scar in women. Method includes the analysis of anamnestic data, clinical presentation and determination of serum cortisol concentration. And also with the scar older than 12 months, the concentration of the indicators of the organism’s reactivity is additionally determined: tumor necrosis factor (TFN-α), testosterone, segmented neutrophils (SN), interleukin-6 (IL-6) and somatotropin (ST), the values of which calculate the coefficients F1, F2, F3 according to the formulas: F1=-13.8+0.97*TFN-α+0.02*Cortisol+1.4*Testosterone+2.2*SN+0.48*IL-6+0.08*ST; F2=-10.9+0.074*TFN-α+0.014*Cortisol+0.32*Testosterone+3.7*SN+0.4*IL-6+0.18*ST; F3=-14.9+2.46*TFNα+0.0034*Cortisol+2.99*Testosterone+2.95*SN-0.2*IL-6+0.38*ST. Resulting numerical characteristics of the coefficients F1, F2, F3 compared to each other and when the value of F1 is more than F2 and F3 scar is attributed to the normotrophic form, with the value of F2 more than F1 and F3 – to hypertrophic, and when the value of F3 is more than F1 and F2 – to keloid scar.

EFFECT: use of this method provides the possibility of differential diagnosis of the type of skin scar in women, allowing you to increase the effectiveness and focus of therapeutic measures.
