FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to dermatology, cosmetology, and plastic surgery, and can be used to predict the result of laser treatment of a hypertrophic scar in women by blood analysis. Prior to treatment in the follicular phase of the menstrual cycle, the concentration of progesterone, follicle-stimulating hormone, cholesterol, interleukin 6 and 10 is determined in the venous blood of the patient. Using the numerical values thereof, the results of the equations of linear classification functions are calculated by the formulas: F1=-67.5+15.7×P+9.4×FSH-3.2×C-1.1×IL10-0.9×IL6, F2=-35.3+3.5×P+4×FSH+7.4×C+0.08×IL10+1.2×IL6, wherein P is progesterone, FSH is follicle-stimulating hormone, С is cholesterol, IL10 is interleukin 10, IL6 is interleukin 6. The results are compared, and at F1>F2, a positive result of laser treatment is predicted. At F1<F2, a negative result of treatment is predicted.

EFFECT: method provides a possibility of increasing the accuracy of predicting the result of treatment of a hypertrophic scar by estimating a set of laboratory indicators affecting the formation of a hypertrophic scar prior to starting laser treatment.
