FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the porous glasses production technology. Performing the glass powder etching in an autoclave at a pressure of 100–150 kg/cm2 in four stages, namely: first etching in 0.5–2 N sulfuric acid solution for 30–60 minutes at a temperature of 120–200 °C, then washing in distilled water until the solution pH is >6, then etching in 0.5–1 N sodium hydroxide solution for 30–60 minutes at a temperature of 120–200 °C, then washing in distilled water until the solution pH is <8.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention consists in obtaining porous glasses with the pores size in the range of 100–400 nm and a narrow pores size distribution (±10 nm).
