FIELD: medicine; biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to immunology and biotechnology, in particular, to a method for assessing the immunogenicity of a live plague vaccine using in vitro antigen-specific cellular tests and flow-cytometric analysis. Present method consists in determining the number of lymphocytes expressing CD25 receptors in vaccinated non-linear white mice when stimulated with a complex of water-soluble Y. pestis antigens. Increase in the number of these lymphocytes correlates with a high level of immunogenicity of the vaccine.
EFFECT: present invention makes it possible to assess the immunogenicity of the plague vaccine in vitro.
