SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the chemical and pharmaceutical industry and provides a pharmaceutical composition with anti-inflammatory activity, consisting of: one or more nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) in an amount of 10 % to 30 % by weight based on the weight of the pharmaceutical composition; one or more solid fats in an amount of 20 % to 50 % by weight based on the weight of the pharmaceutical composition; partially hydrolysed glycerol lipid in an amount of 10 % to 30 % by weight of the pharmaceutical composition, where the partially hydrolysed glycerol lipid consists of a mixture of mono-, di- and triglycerides; polyethylene glycol (PEG) polymer in an amount of 5 % to 15 % by weight of the pharmaceutical composition; where the pharmaceutical composition does not contain an emulsifier. Pharmaceutical composition is prepared so that it is solid at a temperature of 15 °C or lower and has a melting point of 30 °C or higher. Invention also includes the use of this pharmaceutical composition in the manufacture of a medicinal agent for the treatment of chronic inflammation and a method of treating an individual suffering from chronic inflammation using the composition.
