FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to cardiovascular surgery, and can be used for radioablation on rabbit heart using ionizing radiation. Preliminary, anaesthesia is performed, computed tomography is performed in a conical bundle, a volume of fatty tissue is delineated under an aortic arch. X-ray irradiation of the given volume is performed in a radiation therapy planning system by a Monte Carlo method, with a radiation dose of 15–25 Gy once. X-ray irradiation is performed for 1 turn of the gantry at radiation power 6 Gy/min in the isocentre, and the exposure time ranges from 168 s to 291 s depending on the size of the contoured volume of fatty tissue.

EFFECT: method provides developing non-invasive treatment of arrhythmia by means of ionizing radiation due to X-ray exposure on rabbit heart.
