SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of developing methods and devices for the purification of low level and waste waters (LW and WW). Automated device for cleaning LW and WW containing radioactive microcontamination contains a tank for collecting purified water, filter for cleaning LW and WW from radioactive microcontamination, piping system with pumps, air duct for supplying compressed air at the stage of regeneration of filter materials, characterized in that the device also includes filter elements on the basis of a nanocomposite material, produced by sintering from powdered UHMWPE with the addition of a filler - halloysite in a concentration of not more than 3 % (wt.), an automatic process control system.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the efficiency of cleaning LW and WW from radioactive microcontamination, to increase the level of radiation safety of personnel.
