FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in building up working surfaces of metallurgical equipment parts with flux-cored wire with high requirements for hardness and wear resistance. Charge of flux-cored wire contains components in the following ratio, WT%: carbon 0.01-0.5, manganese 0.6-4.4, silicon 0.4-1.6, chrome 0.9-15.0, molybdenum 0.1-11.9, tungsten-containing concentrate 0.15-4.6, vanadium 0.3-2.5, aluminium 0.15-1.5, nickel 0.03-15, dust of aluminium production filters 1-12, iron - the rest.
EFFECT: due to optimisation of chemical composition the charge ensures improved mechanical properties of built-up metal, in particular, wear resistance and hardness, decreased hydrogen content and reduced contamination of built-up layer with non-metallic inclusions.
