FIELD: submerged arc surfacing.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in submerged arc surfacing to restore and obtain a wear-resistant protective coating on parts of metallurgical equipment operating under compression and abrasive wear at temperatures of 670-750°C. Flux-cored wire consists of a steel sheath and a powdery charge and contains components in the following ratio, wt.%: steel shell 67.0-68.0, ferrotungsten 8.0-11.05, ferromanganese 0.66-1.40, ferrosilicon 0.40-1.45, ferrochrome 2.20-4.1, ferrovanadium 0.2 -0.5, nickel 0.01-0.5, titanium 0.01-0.8, carbon-fluorine-containing dust of aluminum electrostatic precipitators 0.80-2.30, iron powder - the rest.
EFFECT: provides an increase in the hardness and wear resistance of the deposited metal layer due to the introduction of titanium and, in connection with this, the reduction of the actual grain size, as well as an increase in the quality of the deposited metal layer due to a decrease in gas saturation.
