FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: using: to calibrate the phase contrast imaging system. Core of the invention is that phantom body (PB) includes at least three mutually distinguishable parts (P1, P2, P3), made with the ability to jointly cause a lot of distortion regarding the X-ray beam (XB), when said beam of X-rays passes through a phantom body (PB), and the said set of distortions includes i) phase shift, ii) absorption and iii) decoherence, any of the distortions of i), ii) and iii) is caused by just one part of the at least three mutually distinguishable parts (P1, P2, P3) to a greater extent than the other degrees with which any of distortion caused by the corresponding two other parts of the mentioned at least three mutually distinguishable parts (P1, P2, P3), and at least one part of the above-mentioned at least three mutually distinguishable parts (P1, P2, P3) includes at least three distinct parts (SP1, SP2, SP3), made with the possibility of division of the corresponding degree of distortion caused by the said at least one part, into three different subdegrees.
EFFECT: technical result: providing the possibility of more efficient calibration procedures of phase-contrast imaging systems.
