FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment. Hall’s device for measuring the thickness of the sheet material is proposed, comprising a mounting frame, reference shaft (1), measuring unit (3) and floating roller assembly (2) containing holder (21), torsion spring (24) and floating roller (21). At that, one end of holder (21) is mounted on the mounting frame through shaft (23) of rotation of the floating roller, and the other end is assembled with the possibility of rotation with a floating roller to form a free end. Torsion spring is used to press the floating roller to the reference shaft. Besides the device contains sensor (4) located opposite the measuring unit and mounted fixed relative to the mounting frame for the non-contact measurement of the displacement of the measuring unit.

EFFECT: technical result is to create a device that effectively increases the linear range and can provide a linear change in the magnetic flux.
