FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: method of manufacturing a chalcopyrite-based translucent thin-film solar module involves applying a layer of metal electrodes to a transparent, pre-cleaned substrate, forming a layer of metal electrodes in the form of an array of alternately arranged individual metal electrodes on it, cleaning the transparent substrate with a layer of metal electrodes made of waste of the process of forming an array of metal electrodes, forming a CIGS photoactive layer of chalcopyrite, applying a buffer layer, removing part of the buffer layer and the underlying part of the photoactive layer above each metal electrode to provide access to the metal electrode layer, applying a layer of transparent electrode, removing a part of the transparent electrode layer, the underlying part of the buffer layer and the underlying part of the photoactive layer above each metal electrode to provide access to the metal electrode layer, forming a serial connection of elements of the solar module, while the photoactive layer is formed by the method of electrochemical deposition or by printing the precursors of the CIGS photoactive layer of chalcopyrite with subsequent heat treatment, while the precursors are applied directly on the surface of each metal electrode, excluding other areas.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at reducing the costs of production of the solar module by eliminating waste of expensive indium and gallium materials.
