FIELD: nuclear equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a floating nuclear power reactor. Reactor includes a self-cooling containment structure and an emergency heat exchange system. Containment structure of the reactor may be flooded upon the temperature or pressure in the containment structure reaching a certain level. Reactor vessel may also be flooded upon the temperature or pressure in the reactor vessel reaching a predetermined level. Reactor includes a heat exchange system and a filtered containment venting system.
EFFECT: improving the safety of the reactor, including in the case of the destruction of multiple pipes, destruction of pipes between the reactor, turbine and condenser, and the destruction of electrical control systems.
