FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coal mining industry and can be used to determine position of coal cutter. System comprises series-connected sensor module, digital sensor module, wireless communication module and computer system for remote control of combine positioning with microprocessor. At that, the sensors module includes ultrasonic sensors installed on the basis of each hydraulic support of the scraper conveyor for measurement of distance between the hydraulic support and the coal wall, displacement sensors installed inside the pusher oil cylinder of each said hydraulic support to determine the ejection distance of the scraper tray of the scraper conveyor, and a strain gauge fixed on the surface of the tooth of the rack of scraper trays to determine the racking deformation.
EFFECT: use of the invention improves reliability of the system while simplifying it.
