AUTOMATED GROUPING OF MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGES Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01R33/56

Abstract RU 2682970 C2

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: using for magnetic resonance imaging. Summary of invention is that method of operation of the magnetic resonance imaging system includes the following steps: collecting the first magnetic resonance data by controlling the magnetic resonance imaging system using pulse sequence commands, reconstructing one or more first images from the first magnetic resonance data; and distributing said one or more first images to a first memory group from a set of memory groups. Method further comprises repeatedly performing the following steps: collecting subsequent magnetic resonance data by controlling the magnetic resonance imaging system using pulse sequence commands, reconstructing one or more subsequent images from subsequent magnetic resonance data, calculating an estimate of the distance between said one or more subsequent images and each of said set of memory groups, distributing aforementioned one or more subsequent images in the selected memory group, if the estimate of the distance between the selected group and the said one or more subsequent images is within the previously selected range, creating additional memory group in memory if said one or more subsequent images are not distributed to the selected memory group, and allocating said one or more subsequent images to an additional memory group, if an additional memory group is created.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of improving the accuracy of images that characterize the movement.
