FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of veterinary medicine, microbiology and biotechnology. Method is proposed for detecting and quantifying the content of U. diversum DNA in adult cattle material. Simultaneously, two real-time PCR reactions are performed, one with primers for the fragment of the 16S rRNA gene of methyl transferase U. diversum, and the second for the fragment of the GAPDH gene for the domestic bull (Bos taurus), followed by analysis of the ratio of the DNA content of U. diversum and the domestic bull DNA. For ratios greater than zero and less than one, a conclusion is drawn about the active infection process of U. diversum. At values greater than one, the conclusion is made about a sluggish infection or carriage.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the specificity and accuracy of diagnosis of cattle ureaplasmosis.
