SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an injectable sclerosant drug foam for the treatment of venous insufficiency. Sclerosant drug foam comprises a matrix, at least one fluid, at least one sclerosant drug, a medical gas suitable for intravenous use, wherein said matrix has a viscosity comparable to the viscosity of denatured blood. Said denatured blood was obtained from 1 ml sample of fresh human venous whole blood, which is heated in a cylindrical polyethylene container with an inner diameter of 3 mm and an outer diameter of 3.4 mm for 0.5 min to 10 min at a temperature of 70 °C to 100 °C. Method for producing sclerosant drug foam, a device for producing same, a kit for treating venous insufficiency, and a method for treatment with sclerosant drug foam are also described.

EFFECT: sclerosant drug foam of the invention is characterised by high viscosity and half-life.
