FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to methods for producing sclerosing medicinal foams. The method for producing a sclerosing drug foam with a hierarchical structure is that the liquid sclerosant is mixed with a medical gas such as O2 or CO2, or room air, by 10 to 20 back and forth injections from one syringe to another through stopcock or syringe tip. In this case, the liquid sclerosant is cooled to a temperature of 0°C before foaming, as a result of which, when mixed, a foam is formed with a hierarchical size distribution of bubbles, consisting of large and small microbubbles, and the surface of large microbubbles is filled with small ones.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to increase the efficiency of a sclerosing drug foam with a hierarchical structure in relation to the process of necrosis of the vein walls, and also ensures complete denaturation of the endothelium of the vein walls using a minimum amount of the drug.
