FIELD: medicine; phlebology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is intended for treating vein diseases. Sclerotherapy composition contains a pharmaceutically acceptable tissue adhesive and a sclerosing drug. Said pharmaceutically acceptable tissue adhesive is an injection, light-curable or light-activated, biodegradable and/or biologically compatible adhesive. Adhesive is acrylate and said acrylate has a half-life in tissue of less than 2 years. Also provided is a catheter device for injections for administering said composition, comprising a light source, where adhesive and gas are loaded into catheter and used in subsequent bolus introduction. Catheter device additionally comprises a separation system. In other embodiments, a set for sclerotherapy, a method of sclerotherapy and use of light curable adhesive in composition of said composition for treating vein diseases are presented.
EFFECT: using the group of inventions enables temporary vein occlusion.
