FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used for diagnostics and forecasting of quality parameters of coatings (thickness, microhardness, porosity) obtained by microarc oxidation. Device is made with possibility of installation on galvanic bath with electrolyte, in which process takes place, with possibility of movement in two mutually perpendicular directions in horizontal plane, as well as movement in vertical direction, providing immersion in electrolyte and extraction from it. Device is in sealed housing and has two isolated cameras, in the first one there is a laser, an optical system, a movable mirror, an optically transparent window, and in the second one, an optically transparent window, a movable mirror, a movable shutter, a radiation receiver and an analogue-to-digital converter. Chambers are partially isolated by an opaque partition and optically connected to each other through a cavity formed by two parallel optically transparent openings, where the electrolyte is supplied when the device is submerged.
EFFECT: device increases efficiency and reliability of automated diagnostics and prediction of quality parameters of MDO-coatings.
