FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: use: in electrical engineering for recovery of technical characteristics and charging of storage batteries. Device for recovery of capacitance characteristics and charge of accumulator battery includes a charge device, discharge facility, synchronization means, control devices for charging and discharging devices, and control means. Additionally, the device comprises a microprocessor, a voltage meter and a current meter, at that, the charge means is a charge current generator, the discharge means is made in the form of a generator of active pulses scanning, to which a high-speed discharge current interrupter is connected, consisting of speed key and its control of pulse-width modulator, which is made with possibility to generate high-voltage pulse on storage battery and makes to release additional number of charge carriers on plates of storage battery. Microprocessor is configured to control time parameters and interaction between charging current generator and acting pulse generator and provides change of duration of acting pulses in the specified interval so that resonant voltage pulses occur on galvanic pair of storage battery, 5–10 times higher than galvanic pair voltage with response pulse duration of 20–150 nanoseconds.
EFFECT: technical result is recovery of capacitance characteristics of storage battery.
