SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an aerosol-forming electrically controlled system which comprises an aerosol-generating device, a removable aerosol-forming cartridge and a removable heater, wherein said detachable aerosol-forming cartridge and detachable heater are separate from each other, wherein the aerosol-generating cartridge comprises at least one aerosol-forming substrate, heater comprises at least one electric heating element and first electric contacts connected to said at least one electric heating element, aerosol-generating device comprises a main body defining a main cavity and at least one opening for receiving an aerosol-forming cartridge and a heater inside the main cavity; power supply source; and second electrical contacts connected to power supply source; wherein, when the aerosol-forming cartridge and heater are arranged together within the main cavity, first electric contacts contact with second electric contacts, and heater is made with possibility to heat aerosol-forming substrate; wherein the aerosol-forming cartridge and the heater are substantially flat, and the main cavity forming the aerosol cartridge and the heater are configured such that the aerosol-forming cartridge and the heater are substantially parallel and adjacent to each other, when they are arranged in the main cavity.
EFFECT: technical result is preventing contamination of heater.
